The Thiessen lab extension program works to promote integrated disease management practices that are economical for field crop and tobacco production in the region. The goal of the extension program is to share information through several mechanisms including traditional stakeholder engagement, written communications, and hands-on training to integrate novel disease management strategies into North Carolina crop production.
